Despite its size, Sun Peaks has a friendly, relaxed feel that makes it particularly appealing for families, couples and groups with different skiing abilities.
Why Ski Sun Peaks?
One of Sun Peaks’ biggest strengths is the variety of terrain.
There are runs for beginners through to advanced skiers, with particularly good options for intermediate skiers who enjoy long, groomed cruising runs.
The three mountains surround the village, making it relatively easy for skiers of different abilities to explore the resort and meet up again during the day.
Is Sun Peaks Good for Families?

How to Get to Sun Peaks
For Australian travellers, the closest airport is Kamloops Airport (YKA).
You'll generally fly into Canada through a major gateway such as Vancouver or Calgary, then connect onwards to Kamloops.
From Kamloops Airport, Sun Peaks is approximately a 45-minute drive, and transfer services are available to the resort.
You don't necessarily need to hire a car once you're there, particularly if you're staying within the village.
